As a young child, I remember telling my mom that someday I'd be a brain surgeon by day and rockstar by night. While that plan may not have panned out -not yet anyway- the mentality of wearing many hats stuck with me.
I began learning the guitar and quickly started trying to pick up as many instruments as I could. This lead me to a love of audio and the art of recording and manipulating sound. My love was strengthened when I began studying Music Technology at Capital University. I've learned many other useful skills along the way like coding the website you're on right now!
I've been recording music since I was in highschool, but during the 2020 lockdown I decided it was time to build my first studio. I now run this studio which I've named David Addison Audio and operate under the stage name David Addison.
Setting up microphones, signal flow, and outboard gear to record audio in digital and analog environments
Manipulating recorded audio to sound more pleasing. This includes musical recordings, voice-overs, sound effects, and live bands
Manipulating mixed audio to meet the standards of required by the project, including music streaming, vinyl record, television and radio
Overseeing a project and bringing the artists vision to life, composing, facilitating recording sessions, hiring musicians, and making adjustments based for the record label
